CASTALIA'S SAN JUAN SILVER

Silver was born 5 1/5 weeks early, but Muchi had plenty of milk and strong mothering instincts and he thrived with zero problems and no medications or plasma transfers. He is now my Jr. Herd Sire and has crias of his own. His bloodlines and more info can be found here. He is a really sweet fella that loves his back scratched and is very easy to handle, but he's "all business" with the ladies.

CASTALIA'S RUBY SLIPPERS

Ruby is soft with a suri-type fiber. Bright fox red and white with some black markings. She's shorn in this photo. It was taken 12 hours after she birthed her first cria (born in 97), a knockout male sired by Bauernheim's Firedancer. Ruby has the same sire as Castalia's Gypsy Moon and Castalia's Sunny Springer. CASTALIA'S GYPSY MOON

Gypsy is Muchi's only "non-wooly" cria, but she's SOOOO sweet! She's a full sister to Castalia's Ruby Slippers and Castalia's Sunny Springer, but is white except for a red "kiss spot" on her forehead. She is a hugger and "presents" her kiss spot for a kiss when you ask her to. She's 1/8 Chilean. I expect great crias from her because genotypically she has the goods. There is a baby picture of Gypsy here. Gypsy will soon be owned by Elixabeth Martin of Sahalee Llamas in Marysville.

CASTALIA'S SOPHIE O' SATIN

Sophie is the most feminine and demure female at Castalia. She also has the finest fiber, it's lofty, high luster and soft as touching a cloud! I sold 1/2 interest in her when she was 3 weeks old and she'll be bred to Riny's Kris Kringle (Santa), my senior stud, in Spring of 99. Her beautiful appy spots show more when she's shorn, but I didn't get photos last Spring after shearing her. They also show in her baby picture (in the Worming section) here.

CASTALIA'S SUNNY SPRINGER

You can see Springer's luster even kushed in a dark barn. What you can't see are his silken suri-like curls. He may appear white, but he actually has patches of silver and pale apricot. If he wasn't related to both of my senior studs and many of my females, Springer would never have been for sale. He's as sweet as he is soft and beautiful! Springer has his own page here. He was purchased at a couple months old by High Acres Llamas in Fredricksburg Texas, as a stud prospect. Upon his arrival there in January 98 (at 9 months old), he had immediate outside breedings lined up for the future! He settled his first female in Spring of 2000.
