| Muchi was the second cria born at Castalia, on a cold January morn in 1991 during the 100 Year Storm. She's white with a red cheek, a huge silver spot on her rump and 3 good sized silver spots running up the back of her neck. Her fiber was wavy and silky fine. This photo was taken a few hours after her birth and I pulled up her cria coat so some of her silver markings showed. She weighed 26 lbs, but looked small to me because my first cria was 32 lbs. Muchi has produced some of the most beautiful, fine fibered crias at Castalia. |
| Muchi is a Macho Camancho granddaughter and also boasts "greats" like the original Montezuma, Le Beau, Pagliachi, Eunice, Poncho Via and Dr. Doolittle in her 7 generation pedigree. When Muchi is first shorn, her silver patches still show. They don't show here because this was taken in spring of 2000 right before I sheared her again. Muchi births easily and has an abundance of milk. All of her crias are healthy and active. Muchi now belongs to Cathy and Craig Spalding of Gentle Spirit Llamas in Olympia. I'm looking forward to seeing the crias she produces with Basil and Mulligan Stew. |
