Optional Orientation to Methods and Materials
Degree and Course Orientation : The Institute of Global Education
offers an Orientation
Course as an option to introduce the process and tools of
Applied Ecopsychology and Integrated Ecology Programs.
Subject: Introducing Psychological Elements of Global
Citizenship and the process of letting Earth teach: nature connecting
activities for wellness, spirit, and developing responsible relationships
Purpose: To give degree and course candidates experiences,
and have them demonstrate their competency, in applying ecopsychology
and in learning and using the program's distant learning e-mail
and internet process.
This optional orientation program may be completed over a
period of 8 or more days and earns one required credit towards
your degree at Greenwich University. It also makes you eligible
for participation in the Graduate
Student Cooperative, a support group that saves students
time and money through shared education and administration.
ORIENTATION PROGRAM INSTRUCTIONS:
Email proficiency. Most of the program's courses are designed
to use email for responding to the work and sustaining communication
with your learning team and mentor. In addition, four other email
and internet sites will be used as part of your coursework throughout
the program. The orientation
program familiarizes you with the email process as well as
these sites and how to use them.
