Children are the heart of any community. Here, on this small green island of Orcas, caring for our youngest members is a responsibility we all take seriously. 

For over 35 years, Orcas Island Children’s House, the oldest non-profit organization in San Juan County,  has led the way in quality child development through our preschool, and more recently, as the only licensed infant care facility. Providing comprehensive, play-based early education and support for families with working parents is our priority.
