The Lord Nelson 41
: a World Class Cruising Yacht

The LORD NELSON 41 is a yacht of unmistakable character; a unique blend of the charm and romance of yesterday and the comfort and convenience of today. Like the Northsea sailing ships in her heritage, she is built with ocean crossing capabilities. Her spacious and rich Interior establishes her as a yacht with distinct style and elegance. She is engineered for reliability, built for seaworthiness and designed for classic good looks. The LORD NELSON 41 captures the imagination of all who view her.

She is designed with a modern, full keel underbody capable of sailing efficiently to weather in very light air. Her oversized rudder furnishes stable downwind tracking and responsive steering. A fine entry and clean rounded forward sections allow the LORD NELSON 41 to move smoothly into head seas while her flatter aft sections provide stability and effortless achievement of hull speed.

This is a yacht of superb structural integrity, insuring years of safe and trouble free cruising.

The hull is built of solid fiberglass. ISO Phthafic gel coat is used for its superior longevity and water resistance. The decks are solid fiberglass re-enforced with a unique FRP stringer system. A full length rubrail is molded into the hull providing tremendous strength and protection. The hull and cabin have been Insulated to provide moisture and temperature control. The LORD NELSON 41 is perfectly suited for long range cruising in rough ocean conditions. Few yachts built today can match her close attention to the primary design considerations of strength, seaworthiness, comfort and safety.

The Finest Tradition

To Ganges Under Spinnaker

of EQUILIBRE a Lord Nelson 41

Sleeps 5 owners and guests in 3 staterooms for a very uncrowded feel. The lay out involves one double foward, one double aft starboard and one pilot berth aft port.

Master Stateroom:
Entry to the Master Stateroom is to starboard of the companionway steps. There is a double berth that runs fore and aft. Foward of the berth to starboard is a seat and hanging locker and a vanity with a single ss sink. Three openable ports and one dorade.
Main Guest Cabin:
Is all the way forward, just aft of the chain locker. It has four drawers, hanging locker, seat, bookshelves, on and on. My favorite is the large hatch above and openable ports.
Pilot Berth:
Located in the aft port quarter, excellent for one. Close to the galley for a midnight snack. Two openable ports and a great shelf. Has a great feel, mainly under way.
Main Cabin Highlights:
Very light and airy with all the nessessary idems. The dinette table has fiddles and a chess board. Just behind lies bookshelves and a secret door to...... To starboard sits a large day berth perfect for siestas and just aft of that is the chart table and seat.
