Felice, the Origin of Joy

Felice, the Origin of Joy

This page originally had a killer version of Makin' Whoopee playing here, but I did not record the midi file myself and under the current controversy over midi copyrights, I've removed all my midi files.

I always think of Felice as a Goddess rather than a Witch. She is so expansive that I get caught up in her energy everytime I think of her. Some members of the family see her as an airhead with no serious purpose, but she is one of my favorites. Felice can find Joy in everyone.

Unfortunately that isn't always as beneficial as it sounds. Felice has had a string of lovers that makes Mata Hari look like a virgin. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but she isn't always as selective as most of my family. She is the essence of Joy and overlooks, or maybe cannot see, the darkness some Warlocks hold tight to them. My aunt says Felice was the original co-dependent, but it simply isn't true. Her affairs were nothing except Joy for her, it was the rest of her relatives that paid the price.

Case in point was her daughter, Rasada. Rasada is the daughter of a Warlock and we are never allowed to speak his name. That is part of the Spell that keeps him bound where he can harm no one. We call him The Storm if we speak of him at all, because Lightning was his favorite ally.

If your life lacks Joy, call for Felice. But hang on to your hat (not to mention the rest of your clothing) because Felice is Joy anywhere she pleases and may take you places that later prove embarrassing. However, you will have fun along the way...
