Welcome to Chelle's Webweaving and Graphics! I've been developing sites with custom graphics since early in 1995. My own site received numerous Hot Site Awards, was highlighted in the WebWatch columns of various magazines (Windows Magazine, Popular Science Magazine, MoneyWorld Magazine), several newspapers, shown on television, and featured on the Microsoft web site.

I've created 81 sites so far. Some are "retired", some are owner maintained, the rest are listed below (except some of my own sites). Some people have retired, others have gone into businesses that don't require a web site, and some are deceased. In other cases the owners are maintaining their own sites. Since they no longer look as they did when I created them (and no longer accurately represent my work), they aren't listed here.

Creating a site together can be a lot of fun, and you'll be actively involved in the process. You can choose your own colors and style, or I'll do it for you. Either way, your pages will be a reflection of your taste and elegantly represent your business.

My clients communicate with me via email. After you send me photos for scanning or digitals on CD by snail mail (postal service), you will just email me the text. You'll see your site as it is being created. None of the pages on your site will ever "go public" until it is complete and meets with your approval. When your site is ready to meet the world, I will do the search engine submissions and you'll have a head start with the traffic from some of the existing community of web sites by Chelle's Webweaving and Graphics.

The economy has changed over the years and some businesses that did very well for many years just fizzled out. It's sad to see so many beautiful sites retire, but that's the nature of life - constant change. I've made changes too. I've moved cross-country twice and I spend a lot more time creating jewelry (another of my passions).

Some people know nothing about web site design, yet want to micro-manage every detail - not caring that it makes their site "slow loading" or hard to navigate. I just have no desire to create sites like that. If it's not going to be original and pretty, with useful content and easy navigation, I'd rather spend my time jeweling. (Making jewelry allows me the freedom to create something new and pretty each time, and then if someone likes it they can purchase it.)

I still create sites, but only for clients that can organize their info as I need it (quite simple really), and those more interested in having a high quality site than having me explain every step along the way. I've never offered lessons and I have no desire to do so. If folks want to learn how to create a site OR how to maintain a site, they should take classes, buy the needed programs, and practice, practice, practice. That's what it takes to learn to do anything well; the know-how, the tools, and lots of time.

UPDATE: I'm only creating new sites for those that also want me to maintain the site. It's just impossible to create something good that allows someone with ZERO experience to maintain it. So it makes more sense for someone in that position to create their own with some of the simple html creators. For those that aren't interested in doing their own site, that are willing to be organized and put out the effort to get quality photos or digitals, I still offer web site services on a limited basis. I charge $200 per page with a 4 page (per site) minimum, and I include a free Links page. I also offer the update service based on a yearly fee. If those options interest you, please email me for further information.

Some site owners opt not to update their sites, so some of the sites below look very "dated". Some were created as far back as 1999 and have never been updated. Others have never sent me the photos or info to even finish their sites. I personally believe that sites that are regularly updated do much better, but that choice is up to the site owner.
