Rammas is one of my very favorite llamas. He was owned by Dr. Ron & Maggie Schuler of Bauernheim Llamas, but he spent a little time at Castalia. He was black with long, silken ringlettes and the sweetest disposition I've ever seen on any male. I called him Rommybear and loved him like my own. Rammas is deceased , but not forgotten. I feel fortunate to have a son, Castalia's San Juan Silver, and a daughter, Castalia's Blaze of Glory, here at the farm.

Silver's first cria, Castalia's Rammalita, was born in Spring of 96. She's a carbon copy of her grandsire, Rammas. It is only fitting that she will be joining Schuler's breeding females.

As far as I'm concerned, Rammas was one of the 'Greats' of the llama world and I miss him still.
