Ruby was bred by Castalia Llamas, sold to Chris Lyons of Whiffles Unlimited, and boards here. Ruby is a tall, well-built, elegant, suri-fibered paint - fox red and white with black markings. A very flashy gal that is proving she can reproduce her best qualities.

Ruby's dam, Mucho Mistico was born at Castalia in 1991 and continues to have stunning crias. If you click on her name, you'll see photos of her, another of Ruby & Copper, and all of Muchi's crias. Muchi is ¼ Chilean, being a Macho Camacho granddaughter sired by the dark chocolate, fine fibered stud, Mucho Macho. Castalia's San Juan Silver was her first cria and she's had three females since then, Castalia's Ruby Slippers, Castalia's Gypsy Moon and Castalia's Sophie O'Satin (the rear end in Sophie's photo belongs to her dam, Muchi, but she is shorn there). Muchie's latest cria was a stunning suri-type male, Castalia's Sunny Springer, who now resides in Texas as the future herd sire at High Acres Llamas. Springer is a full brother to Ruby.

Ruby's first cria is a beautiful paint marked similar to his his dam. His name is WU Copper Eminence and he's everything Chris hoped for when she bred Ruby to Bauernheim's Firedancer! He has wavy, soft fiber very much like dam and his grandsire, Jubiloso.

Copper will be breeding his first females here in Spring of 2000 and then he'll be available for purchase. He's going to make someone a great herdsire and should also do excellent in the show ring.
