CASTALIA'S SAN JUAN SILVER Legend's Rammas  x  Mucho Mistico Bloodlines I can't tell if Silver is amazed at being shorn or shocked by all the 'second cuts' left on the ground. I tried to even him up, but... He wasn't a bit flattered that I chose him to be one of the first to be sheared with my new electric clippers.

Silver is white and silver-grey (which is apparent when he is shorn) with red appy spots on his sides. He bleaches in the sun. His sire, Legend's Rammas, died young, so there are very few Rammas sons to carry on this great blood line. Rammas was black with long, fine ringlets. He was 1/2 Canadian through his sire, Alberta Legend, and out of Chickenheart, a grand dam who is still producing excellent crias.

Silver's dam, Mucho Mistico, was born at Castalia in 1991 and continues to have stunning. She's ¼ Chilean, being a Macho Camacho granddaughter sired by the dark chocolate, fine fibered stud, Mucho Macho. Silver was her first cria and she's had three females since then, Castalia's Ruby Slippers, Castalia's Gypsy Moon and Castalia's Sophie O'Satin. Two of them are sold and all live here. Her last cria is a stunning suri, Castalia's Sunny Springer, who now resides in Texas as the future Jr. sire at High Acres Llamas.

When Silver was young we called him Little Wizard. There was just something magical about him. He's a thinker and you can see the wheels turn as he watches a new event. When something new seems odd to him, he'll look at me as if to say, "Why in the world would anyone do that?", but then go on to do whatever I ask of him. He has one of those even dispositions, a willing guy that comes up to be haltered and loves to hike, greet visitors or have his cheeks or back scratched. He is correct and has fine, soft fiber. He has a masculine, refined head with ears I really like. His top line is flat enough to picnic on and he has that high tail set we all love.
