The Twins

This page originally had a killer version of Don't Get Around Much Anymore playing here, but I did not record the midi file myself and under the current controversy over midi copyrights, I've removed all my midi files.

Fortunately, Kalora was experienced enough by the time she had The Twins to notice they were a little strange. Ok, a lot strange. In my family a little strange is normal. They are not identical, but still very much alike. For whatever reason things go awry in the universe, The Twins seem devoid of normal emotions. They have a lot of Power, but their only interest is undoing what the other has done. One creates something, the other destroys it and vice versa. You can imagine how devastating that could be on earth... in a flash seas would appear, drowning everyone and everything, but as soon as the other noticed (which wouldn't take more than a few seconds) a blazing desert would replace the sea.

So Kalora has them stashed where they can't do any harm. I don't think I've ever heard them laugh, but I haven't spent much time with them. They don't notice anyone except each other anyway. There was a movement among the Powers That Be to have The Twins destroyed. Kalora pleaded for their lives and promised to keep them where they can harm none. Because she has spent her life bringing Wonder to others, her request was grudgingly granted.

The Twins aren't Evil, nor are they Good, they just have no concept of consequences, feelings. They can't be called upon for help (thank Goddesses!), but I think of them when I'm feeling overwhelmed and their cool, analytical ways help me level out.

The Twins will never have children, but Kalora also had a son, a very special son that was eagerly spoiled by all. She calls him Raycor, which we, of course, shortened to Bill. Well, it's easy to explain... kindof.

Coming soon, Raycor
