Dolphin Bay Bicycles has been successfully operating on Orcas Island, Washington for more than 7 years. It's owners are currently pursuing a career in frame building, specializing in steel mountain, cross, road and single speed frames.
The shop's main profit is from rental of bicycles at the Orcas Island Ferry Terminal. Much of the rental comes from tourists walking off the ferry, but the majority is via advanced reservation, either directly through the shop (telephone), e-mail through our website, or through their hotel or bed and breakfast.
We are also an authorized dealer for Specialized, Seven, Oakley, Pearlizumi, Santa Cruz and others.
We have perfect credit with all major bicycle component distributors including Security Bicycle, Seattle Bike Supply, Quality Bicycle Components, Henry James, Nova Cycles and Riteway.
