I suppose a lot of folks would say that the blues is not a major part of todays music --if you judge by record sales and radio airplay. But if you search a bit on the Web, you'll be amazed at how alive the blues are! Go ahead --use one of the Web search engines, type in "blues music", and you'll be looking at sites until you run out of energy or money for the phone bill!

This is a very small sample of great music sites. It's biased towards the blues, but you'll find other types too, because I love reggae and world music and folk and bluegrass and all stuff from the heart. The only thing I've tried to leave out is the pop/record company hype stuff. As a player, I know that the only way you can really find the magic in the music is to listen to it live. But you can't get there unless you know what's out there. The great thing about music, as in life, is that there are great discoveries around the corner, and you only have to keep your ears and eyes open to find them. Hopefully this small sample will keep your heart open and your feet moving!
