Northwest Coast Straight Knife: Our straight knife is hafted in beautiful yew wood and has a short powerful drop-point high carbon tool steel blade perfect for incising, striking lines and finishing tasks. This tool is ideal for Northwest coast carving and about any other type too. A redesigned tip makes it a better tool for the finishing strokes in a carving. Comes with a black seine twine wrap and a fine hand-sewn heavy-weight oak-tanned leather sheath with belt loop to protect your knife and allow you to carry it on your hip. A sharp and unique tool, functional and beautiful. The thin blade means easy penetration while striking lines. Good for incising, finishing, and detailing. Black seine twine wrapped yew haft. Overall length about 6 1/2″, working blade length 1 9/16″, 9/64″ thick, matte finish. Kestrel Detailing Knife: I find one of these knives in my hand about as often as any other tool I own. Super for detailing and fine incising cuts. The narrow blade will turn a tight corner and the fine tip will poke in almost anywhere. Graceful hardwood haft with a comfortable and practical shape.
