Gwendolyn's deep spirituality and love of the natural world finds an outlet in her Celtic art. With infinite patience she uses ink and pigments to create intricate interpretations, drawing inspiration from Medieval illustrated manuscripts, Runes, and ancient symbols from European faith traditions. With steady hand and using only a pen and pigments, she draws swirls, geometric borders, fantastic creatures and Runic text that can often be truly appreciated only with a magnifying glass.
