CELTIC GALLERY
Gwendolyn is drawn to the imagery and spiritual essence of northern Europe. Her imagination and mysticism find a compatible means of expression in art inspired by the intricate, painstaking work of Medieval monks who spent their days in the service of God, patiently creating colorful miniature masterpieces of calligraphy and illustration.
Many of these works contain elements so tiny that they can only be appreciated when viewed through a magnifying glass - fantastic creatures, intricate swirls, Celtic knotwork and geometric designs, and texts transcribed in Runic writing.
