Consultations

General Information

Animal CommunicatorsA consultation is a three-way conversation between you, your animal, and me, the communicator. It is not a psychic reading. I am your link to let you hear what your animal has to say. The purpose of a consultation is to bring harmony and understanding between you and your animal friend.

The average consultation lasts 30 minutes and covers most people's questions, however, negotiating about a behavior problem may take longer. The more prepared you are, the quicker it goes. We can communicate with more than one animal in a session.

Making an Appointment
Appointments for consultations are made in advance by telephone, (360)376-7606, or by filling out the form on the Contact Mary page. I only check my e-mail once a day, so please call if you need an appointment quickly. At that time, I will get your personal information and a detailed description of your animal, it's address, and a little about the situation. It usually takes only a few days from your first call until the consultation takes place.

Preparing for a Consultation
When the appointment is set, you will be asked to write down a list of questions you want to ask your animal, or issues that you would like to discuss. This helps you get clear about the situation and ensures that you don't forget anything important.

If your animal is having a health problem, be as explicit as possible with your questions. You may want to ask if the pain is better or worse after treatment, is the medication helping, where does it hurt, etc. The more specific your questions, the more precise the answers. Animals are a lot like people - if you ask them how they are, often they'll just say fine. If you ask them about their knee, they'll tell you how it hurts when they go up the stairs.

Behavior problems have special considerations. I ask people to think about the possible rewards and/or consequences that may motivate their animal to change their behavior. It's important to think about this ahead of time, so that when we are communicating with your animal you know what you are willing to do or not do. Negotiations of this sort are not unusual. Think about "what's in it for them?" to change.

The Consultation
At the appointed time, I'll call you, and telepathically connect with your animal. Once this link is made, you will ask a question, I will get quiet and talk to your animal, then tell you what it says. We go back and forth like that until you have the information you need or we have worked out solutions to problems. The process is very simple and easy.

Payment
The cost is $50 for a 30-minute consultation, $75 for 45 minutes and $100 for a one hour consultation. You can either prepay with a check or use your MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Discover Card.

My Guarantee
I guarantee that I will connect with your animal.  If in the first ten minutes, you don't feel that I'm talking with your animal, please say so and we will stop.  There will be no charge and I will refer you to another communicator.
