Collector's Plates For You!
Hi Taylor & Shelby! Here are the plates I've been able to get for you so far. They are beautiful Collector's Plates by well known artists. That means there are only so many made, and each year they become harder to find... and more valuble. So if you take good care of them, by the time you are ready to go to college (or start a business), you can sell them and it will give you a little "nest egg" of money to help you out. In the meantime you can enjoy their beauty. But if you chip or scratch them they lose all their value. So do be careful around them. Clean them with just a soft dry cloth, no chemical cleaners that can harm the surface.The real plates are prettier than the pictures, but it's hard for people to get good photos sometimes. ;) Over time I'll try to get you every plate in each collection, and add more collections. Some of your plates cost over $40 a piece, and some are very hard to find. I was bidding on one, but it went over $300, so I didn't get that one. But I'll keep looking for "good deals" on all the plates you need to finish your collections. Complete collections are worth even more. The Certificate of Authenticity (COA) is very important, so let your Mom hang on to those for you. I hope that you enjoy them, take good care of them, and that SOMEDAY they also help you by financing a bit of your future. The ones you have below now will have to be partly Valentine's Day and partly Easter gifts because I got a bit carried away trying to get a lot at once.
