Title, purpose and description:

COUNSELING AND EDUCATING WITH NATURE:
Nature activities for wellness, spirit and deeper learning

"Oh, what a catastrophe, what a maiming of love when it was made personal, merely personal feeling. This is what is the matter with us: we are bleeding at the roots because we are cut off from the earth and sun and stars. Love has become a grinning mockery because, poor blossom, we plucked it from its stem on the Tree of Life and expected it to keep on blooming in our civilized vase on the table."
- D. H. Lawrence

The challenge:

Irrefutable studies now confirm that stress emanating from our nature disconnected "bleeding roots" creates the insatiable wants that cause most runaway personal, social and environmental problems.

The response:

Research at the Institute of Global Education shows that new nature connecting methods and materials rebind our natural roots with Earth, dissolve our stress and reduce our problems. A balanced, kinder way of life evolves. By email, telephone, correspondence or on-site, Project NatureConnect teaches a ecologically sound, education and mental health courses throughout the USA and internationally. The courses benefit all of life by nurturing natural wisdom, creation and spirit. They offer optional academic and continuing professional education credit for teachers, counselors and students.
