Shark Reef Park

Raven's Rook Cabin is very close to Shark Reef Park which is well known for its beautiful views of the Straits of Juan De Fuca, rock islands where seals and sea lions haul out to sun themselves and in the distance the lighthouse of San Juan Island and the snow capped Olympic Mountains.

Other great activities on Lopez include bicycling, and kayaking (rentals on Lopez available for both). Walking is good -- lots of public beaches. An excellent restaurants tempt the palate. -Or just getting goodies in town - and hanging out cozily by the wood stove. It's all good.

Always quiet.
