Orcas Island Tonewoods has been milling wood for musical instruments since 1980.  We specialize in woods for the violin family, archtop mandolin, and archtop guitar.  We occasionally mill wood for flat-top guitars as well (inquire)...

 

Although in the past we have milled woods from Europe and Eastern North America, currently we focus on species indigenous to the Pacific Northwest.  

 

Orcas Island Tonewoods stock includes: Engelmann spruce, Bigleaf maple, Western Balsam Poplar, Willow, Redwood, and Sitka spruce.
